End of Year update

  • 1 min read

The Mangawhai Matters Committee  held their last meeting for the year last week.

The Rise PC 83 and the Hills PC 84 Plan Changes are now done and dusted with the team delighted to have achieved everything we wanted without having to go to expensive Environment Court hearings.

Both were settled with the developers and have been ratified by the Environment Court.

Looking into next year we will be continuing to work on the -

  • Rates - we have put in a submission, the hearings are early next year

  • Development Contributions

  • The Annual Plan

  • The next steps in our Sustainability Study.

We are also looking at how we can set up a system to monitor that Resource Consents and Plan Changes are complying with their conditions

Merry Xmas

Doug Lloyd (Chair)
